2.2 Service Limitations

We act as freight forwarders and not as common carriers. We reserve the right to refuse service for any shipment at our discretion, including but not limited to hazardous materials, illegal goods, or items restricted by law.

3. Customer Obligations

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information about shipments
• Ensure goods are properly packaged and labelled
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Provide necessary documentation for customs clearance
• Declare the true value and nature of goods
• Not ship prohibited or dangerous goods without proper declaration

4. Quotations and Pricing

4.1 Quotations

All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Quotations are based on information provided by you and may be revised if circumstances change.

4.2 Additional Charges

You may be liable for additional charges including:

• Customs duties and taxes
• Storage charges
• Demurrage and detention charges
• Additional handling fees
• Currency fluctuation adjustments

5. Liability and Insurance

5.1 Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited as follows:

• Loss or damage: Limited to the lesser of the value of the goods or £1,000 per shipment unless higher value is declared
• Consequential losses: We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses
• Delay: We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control

5.2 Insurance

We recommend that you arrange appropriate cargo insurance for your shipments. We can arrange insurance on your behalf upon request.

6. Payment Terms

Payment terms are as follows:

• Payment is due within 30 days of invoice date unless otherwise agreed
• We reserve the right to request advance payment for certain services
• Late payments may incur interest charges at 8% above Bank of England base rate
• We may withhold delivery of documents or goods pending payment

7. Customs and Regulatory Compliance

You acknowledge that:

• You are the importer/exporter of record unless otherwise agreed
• You are responsible for providing accurate customs declarations
• We act as your agent for customs clearance purposes
• You will indemnify us against any claims arising from inaccurate declarations

8. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, war, terrorism, strikes, pandemics, government actions, or transport disruptions.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on our website is our property or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without prior written permission.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
